The Emerald Honeybush Seaweed Tea is made by Cup of Sea in Portland, Maine using Maine sea weed.
Cup of Sea makes loose-leaf herbal & caffeinated teas featuring Maine seaweeds and the dream of Josh Rogers.
Brew a cup of Maine. The seaweeds in these handcrafted teas contain around 60 minerals vital to health. They also provide vitamins, omega oil, essential amino acids, anti-inflammatories and antioxidants. Wild harvested from the cold, pristine waters of the Gulf of Maine, the seaweeds are dried and blended with other ingredients in small batches in Portland.
We hope they put you in a Maine frame of mind.
Why seaweed tea? Because it’s good for you! Seaweeds contain around 60 trace minerals that are vital to human health — notably iodine, potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium. What else is in there? Vitamins, plus omega-3 and omega-6, essential amino acids, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents. Our teas are so full of good stuff, they’ve been described as “the bone broth of the ocean.”
Allergy info: Seaweed can occasionally contain very tiny shell fragments. Blended in a facility that also processes milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts & soy.
