Easy to Make Mixes

Need a quick and easy zesty recipe before your guests arrive? Try the flavorful Zesty Ranch Dip Mix by Westminster Whimsy – just add sour cream! “Hand blended in our home kitchen in Howland, Maine.”

Directions: Mix 1 tablespoon of mix with 1 cup of sour cream. Let stand.

For Creamy Dip: Mix 1 tablespoon of mix with 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of softened cream cheese. Let stand.

Zesty White Rice:

• 1 cup long grain white rice
• 2 cups chicken (or vegetable) broth
• 1 packet of Zesty Ranch Dip Mix

In a large saucepan, add chicken (or vegetable) broth and entire dip packet and bring to a boil. When at a rolling boil, add rice. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes or until all of the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Voila!
