Maine Sea Salt

Refill your salt cellars or jars with this crisp and clean hand harvested Maine Flake Finishing Sea Salt.

Made in small batches from the deep ocean waters of Maine.  In the summer we use solar evaporation in green houses on York’s tidal river. In winter we harness the power of Maine‘s cold climate to brine reject the sea water. Once we have our brine (via solar or brine rejection) we filter it and warm it in a controlled setting to make our giant flakes.

Take a pinch and sprinkle over any dish, sweet or savory before serving to add wonderful flavor and texture.

Slack Tide Sea Salt use the freshest clearest ocean waters when pulling water for sea salt. The water is boat harvested at an incoming tide. They don’t add any chemicals, bleach, or anti caking agents to their salt so you’re getting 100%  pure sea salt from the crisp Maine ocean.
