Maple Candy is made by boiling down maple syrup even further, removing almost all moisture. The thick liquid may be kept hot over a very low flame or in a pan of hot water. After coming to the correct consistency it is added to a mold and cooled. Once sufficiently hardened, the candy can be picked up and eaten.
