The Hike Hat was made by Belted Cow Company. “Belted Cow Company was started in 2004 with a simple idea, some unabashed enthusiasm (some may call it ignorance), a bit of luck, and as other entrepreneurs will confirm, a lot of hard work.”

Belted Cow Hats are constructed using unstructured brushed cotton panels, adjustable hook & loop enclosure, and are finished with hi-density embroidery for a solid vibrant design.

At the onset, the team behind Belted Cow made a promise to always “do things right.” This means an uncompromising commitment to paying attention to every detail—no matter how small. Their dedication to quality is an ongoing commitment. They use high-grade materials, like custom solid casted brass buckles, exceptional Midwest leathers (tanned right here in Maine), and premium cotton webbing woven by Rhode Island’s renown textile mills. Their philosophy is that they’re not only crafting high quality wares—they’re cultivating a reputation. They do not put their name on a product unless it’s something of which they’re deeply proud.
