Elizabeth has worked and played with clay off and on for over 30 years. She vividly remembers the first time she watched an art teacher in high school make a pot on the wheel. She was inspired – what a useful and beautiful thing to be able to do!

Functional beauty – pottery that looks, feels and performs in a pleasing way – is her ultimate aim. She is very grateful to be able to make a variety of pottery from stoneware and earthenware clays in the studio next to her home in Waldo County, Maine.
